The Natural Place to relax & enjoy life!
After a hike along the creek, a guest can relax in the hot tub on the front porch and watch the water gently flow by. Take a ride along the bike trail nearby, or paddle a canoe down the Licking River. Wild turkey, bald eagles, and deer are abundant at Shelter Valley, as well as pieces of flint-remnants of the Native Americans who once traveled along this same creek to visit what is now Flint Ridge State Park. Or enjoy a visit the Newark Earth Works, or the Flint Ridge Ancient Quarries & Natural Preserve.
Spring brings the birth of calves, deer fawns and other wild life for you to enjoy. In Summer, watch the beauty of nature in full glory. Fall is wonderful as you feel the cool, crisp air and enjoy the view of vibrant colors of leaves. Winters are cozy when you are snuggled in front of the fireplace. In the winter time, the cabins are surrounded by a scenic Winter Wonderland background.
Regardless of the season we invite you to join us at Shelter Valley Country Log Cabins. We enjoy families! So bring the kids at NO EXTRA CHARGE!
